I am writing you today thanking you for your business and trust in us and to announce some exciting changes for 2019.
First, USA Copiers is now Nimble Technologies. This rebranding has been in the planning stages for most of 2018 and our new website is now live.
I have been in the office equipment industry now for almost 14 years and I have seen more changes taken place in the business world in the past 2 years than in the previous 12 years. For example, for the first time in history, the amount of pages being printed world wide is declining at a rate of 3% per year. I truly believe we are at the dawn of the next revolution; Digital Transformation.
Google “Digital Transformation” and you will find hundreds of thousands of references. We are moving rapidly from the tangible to the intangible as the underpinnings or our economy.
As we turned the corner form 2018 to 2019, I decided the time to change was now, not later. In doing so I am proud to inform you that as Nimble Technologies, we will be bringing you new and valuable solutions for your business in 2019.
Below is a summary of the three major changes.
1. Seat Based Billing
Seat Based Billing is most drastic and disruptive change taking place is that Nimble Technologies will be one of the first companies in the US to do away with copier leases and introduce the business world to what they have wanted for a along time. A flat rate, budget-able billing service for copiers.
This revolutionary new way of billing for copiers puts Nimble Technologies in complete alignment with our customers as we are now motivated to help reduce printing. Give as a call to learn more as there is so much more I can tell you.
2. DropBox Document Management
Nimble Technologies is now a Premier DropBox Consultant. DropBox is moving their business model to working with technology partners for value added servicing of their customers. DropBox is a 100% cloud based document management and collaboration platform that requires no hardware. It is 100% secure with natural disaster recovery and apps for IOS, Android, PC & Mac. Cloud based document management is a key component in the digital transformation revolution.
3. Financial Services
When we began the task of adapting our infrastructure to Seat Based Billing for copiers, we also had the task of working with our bank partners to create new financial instruments to accommodate the monetization of the hardware in the contract.
From this exercise, we were able to structure solutions that include not only the copiers but almost any other hard assets that our customers might like to include into their seat based billing.
For example, one customer needed 300 new laptops in addition to 20 new copiers. We simply adjusted their seat price by $6 per seat and delivered 300 new laptops within a week. A personal trainer needed both a copier and some additional gym equipment.
In this situation, a traditional lease was a better fit and we were able to provide the copier, and the gym equipment into one lease. It’s also worth noting that our new Financial Services program is also not just for copiers. Almost anything a business needs can now be financed through a lease with one of our banking partners that we have strong relationships with - even if you don’t need a copier!
